Confidence in the reader
Technical documentation or academic texts assume a certain level of reader preparation. An editor will not translate or decode every basic industry term to avoid overloading the document.
AI, on the other hand, is programmed to be "helpful" to the widest possible audience. Therefore, it often interrupts the technical narrative to explain the meaning of an obvious abbreviation in parentheses. The absence of such explanations in a dry text confirms its originality.
