The illusion of omniscience
AI does not have episodic memory; it has access to weights containing all of Wikipedia. It doesn't remember events; it extracts facts. Therefore, it specifies the day, month, and year of an event, even when writing an informal blog post.
When a person recalls a story from five years ago, their memory relies on emotions and seasons. They remember the essence (semantics dropped), but forget the exact numbers. Surgical precision in a memoir or conversational text is a powerful marker of artificiality.
