Semantic redundancy
Using broad, voluminous phrases ("key aspect", "opens new horizons") that carry no concrete informational value.
"Creating a custom synonym database is not just a routine task, it is a step into a new era of semantic analysis. Our innovative approach opens unprecedented opportunities for a deep understanding of user intent."
"We needed a decent synonymizer to generate texts. Third-party APIs turned out to be too expensive for our volumes, so we just scraped a 100k-word dictionary and put it in our database. Cheap and cheerful."
Pumping up importance
AI often confuses the intonation of an Apple corporate press release with a regular blog or article. If you ask it to write about implementing a new feature, it will start using words like "innovative", "unprecedented", "fundamentally changes".
In IT reality, humans are extremely cynical. They don't create "a new era of semantics"; they solve a utilitarian task: how to save on an API and make the code run faster. The absence of pathos is an excellent marker of a human author.
