In English, the idiom "connective tissue" is widely used in business and IT to describe connecting elements. An automatic translator (or a lazy AI rewriter) translates this literally, which in many other languages is a purely medical/biological term that sounds absurd in an IT context.
A live translator or editor adapts the meaning: they use appropriate verbs ("tie together", "unite") or more fitting metaphors ("infrastructure backbone"). Retaining English syntax and calqued idioms is a sure sign that the text was not generated by AI from scratch, but is a raw interlinear translation.
